The inaugural Charleville Cup Festival runs from Saturday 31st October to Tuesday 3rd November with four days of food, fashion, fun and racing culminating in the feature Charleville Cup Day.

The festival has been made possible through the Queensland Government’s Blueprint for the Bush – Our Place Our Future initiative. In June 2009, Minister for Primary Industries, Fisheries and Rural and Regional Queensland Tim Mulherin, approved funding for the Central Warrego Race Club Inc to host the Charleville Cup Festival, a new community event which is set to become a major tourist event in Charleville.
